Homepage Gordon Group News About the RDA See our Facilities Session Times How to Help Where are we? Meet our Horses

We currently give riding lessons to over 60 disabled adults and children at our purpose-built centre at Tweed-dale near Inverurie.  Our riders enjoy their lessons immensely and benefit greatly from this form of exercise.  We have many names on our waiting list and in order to continue giving lessons to our present riders as well as allowing us to increase the number at each session, we are urgently looking for more volunteers.

Could you spare a couple of hours each week to help someone enjoy a riding lesson? You do not need to be knowledgeable about horses or have experience working with disabled people - just enthusiasm and a willingness to help the riders to enjoy riding.  Training is provided for all our helpers.

In addition to helping at sessions, there is always lots of work to be done at Tweed-dale, so if you are unable to assist at any of the sessions but feel you can help us in other ways, please let us know.

If you would like to know more about what we do, or think you would like to help, please contact:

you will be most welcome.  We would also be delighted to hear from you if you could help with our fund-raising activities, either in a practical way or with new ideas.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU
